When you go to Rome, you can easily find many delightful indoor sights such as the museums, theaters, churches and bars. But at heart Rome is a city that is seen best from one of the artistic piazzas that can only be enjoyed outdoors. That is why - for many - Rome will always be an outdoor city.

“Piazza” can be translated to mean public square. But the piazzas of Rome are unique from other famous cities because they are genuine places for lovers of outdoor art to gather and enjoy such beauty together.

Probably the finest location of Bernini’s “Fountain of the Four Rivers” can be found at Navona. Four striking sculptures that Bernini’s students executed are artistically arranged around a rocky mass at the center of the fountain which holds up an obelisk. One of those stunning sculptures named “the Ganges” was created by Claude Poussin who went on to become a well known master as well.

The Fountain of the Four Rivers is a delight because there is so much to see, including sea monsters, cacti, palm trees, a lion and all kinds of other wonderful pieces woven into a delightful artwork around the central unifying column.

When this fountain was created, it was so expensive that Rome actually put taxes on bread to fund the work. This resulted in loud complaints from every level of Roman society. That scandal is now part of the lore of this artwork to enhance the fun of relaxing and enjoying a coffee as the bustling metropolis goes by.

Just across the piazza is another magnificent fountain that has the sea god Triton riding a dolphin as its centerpiece. The “Fountain of the Moor” is a great place to relax and take in the activity in the public square, catch some warm sun on your face or discuss with your travel mates what site to see next in the Piazza Navona. The piazza is full of things to see, do and taste that will enhance your experience just as much as the wonderful and artistic fountains outdoors.

For example, scattered throughout the many Roman cafes and restaurants are dozens of merchant kiosks. Many Italian artists dot the piazza, ready to sketch your portrait to give you a lovely souvenir of your visit.

There is no shortage of nightlife that continues non-stop until the sun comes up. At any time you might encounter a mime, a beggar, an artist as well as throngs of tourists and Roman natives all enjoying the oval plaza together. The piazza is ideal for such public life because it was built around what is called an ancient circus. This is not a lively animal show but an intersection of many streets in one circular area.

Don’t miss out on enjoying a Tartufo at the Tre Scalini while you are there. Another option is to take in the Caffe della Pace, the oldest operating bar in Rome, which is not far away. The atmosphere here is a delight as is the taste of the Campari. This will put you in a good frame of mind to stop at the Church of Sant’Agnese for confession and still be walking distance from three of those renowned Bernini fountains.

The Fountain of Neptune, also known as the “Fontana dei Calderai” (translated: Fountain of the Coppersmiths) is another great artwork here for your viewing pleasure. This classic sculpture of the god of the sea Neptune killing an octopus is abundant with sea creatures such as Nereid (or sea nymphs), dolphins and sea horses. The Fountain of Neptune takes the sea creature theme of the piazza to the next level. And the rose marble that was used to create this artwork is also what was used for the doorjambs at St. Peter’s.

From your time at the Fountain of the Coppersmiths, it is a short walk to hear some great classical music at the Piazza Sant’Eustachio that lies between Navona and the Pantheon. Or you can easily catch a quick bus to see the Pantheon if your schedule takes you there next.

You will enjoy taking advantage of the opportunity to spend time at one of Rome’s famous public squares that ironically sprang to life in the public circles of Rome’s piazzas.

The Costa Del Sol which has more than 150km of coastline is the most popular tourist destination in Spain with tourists from around Europe and the world. The main reason for its popularity is that it offers good weather nearly all the time throughout the year.

This area of Spain is divided up into two distinct areas one being the Eastern part and the other being the Western. The eastern part of this region is made up of a 54km stretch of the coastline and stretches from the east of Malaga city which is also the capital of the Province.

The other 100km of coastline that makes up Malaga province again starts on the western side of Malaga city but goes as far as the border with Cadiz Province. This is the area where most development has been taking place and where many tourists will spend their holidays.

The main airport in to which people will fly when visiting the Costa del Sol is that based on the outskirts of Malaga. This then provides them with easy access to all the major resorts along the coastline including Nerja, Marbella, Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Benalmadena.

Although many people come to spend time just relaxing on the wide open beaches that the Costa Del Sol has to offer. It is now becoming a very popular all year round destination for those who enjoy playing golf. Today the area has now more than 70 golf courses which can be played on and has earned the name of being the “Costa del Golf” as well.

As well as being able to play golf there are plenty of other activities to keep one amused whilst on holiday in the Costa del Sol. You could give sailing a try or scuba diving, plus there are dolphin safaris and treks into the countryside on horseback. Certainly by travelling further inland from the Costa del Sol coastline there are plenty of other exciting activities one can try.

If you are a keen rock climber then a visit to the area known as El Chorro only a short distance away from Malaga airport may be worth considering visiting. Certainly this is a location in Spain that has now become a very popular one with climbers from around the world and many come during the winter months to try and scale its heights.

If you want to spend more time just relaxing then Marbella, Benalmadena and Torremolinos are the ideal resorts for this. Along with beautiful beaches there are plenty of great bars and restaurants where you can sit and eat and drink and just watch the world go by.

Malaga is very much a commercial city at heart but still has plenty to offer those who visit the city for a day. Along with the Port and Old Quarter, one can take in the Roman theatre and the Moorish Palace. Plus this is where the world renowned artiste Picasso was born and lived and so time should be taking to visit the Picasso Museum whilst in Malaga.

As you can see from above there is far more for one to do and see when holidaying on the Costa del Sol. Certainly if you want a fun filled holiday then this is a destination worth considering.

Cruise ship vacations are a great way to enjoy many experiences at once. You can have the resort experience while traveling to many foreign places, all while taking in the beauty of the ocean. Cruises allow you to have fun, meet new people, and get a great sun tan. If planning a cruise vacation be sure you have made the proper plans. You can put some things off until shortly before departing, but others must be done far in advance.

A person that can help you insure that you have the trip of your dreams is a travel agent. They can help you make all of your arrangements, the bookings, and other details that can allow you to have the trip you planned, putting everything to your liking. Your travel agent could even help you with discounts, depending on the trip you wish to take, and help you to find the cheapest way to go about your trip. It may cost some money to enable you to employ one of these agents but you are sure to find it well worth in at the end of your trip.

Currency should be a big concern when making plans to go on your trip. If attending a cruse that goes outside your native nation you should prepare to be forced to pay with a different currency than your own. Cruises usually make port at least two or three times throughout the trip, this will allow you to explore new areas and purchase souvenirs. Most places that American tourists frequent will allow you to pay with American money but in some cases you will be forced to make your purchases with the native currency.

Passports are one of the most important things to keep safe on your trip. They are your proof that you are an American and have the right to come and go from the country. With out it you could find yourself unable to return to America if you are separated from the cruise. In some cases passports are required to be on the cruse at all.

Some people do not realize that passports can be required on cruises. Be sure to ask your travel agent whether or not you will need yours and how to attain one if you do not possess one already.

Maneuvering around the cruise ship can be difficult if you have a lot of luggage with you. Packing properly can determine how easy a time you have getting around and storing your belongings. Poorly packing can entirely inconvenience your trip, must needed personal items could be lost and you space wasted by baggage.

A limit has been set for must cruises on the amount of luggage that a person can bring on board. If your luggage exceeds this limit you may find yourself leaving behind some of your cherished personal belongings if you hope to stay with the trip. Be sure not to waste space and pack conservatively.

There are items that are not allowed on cruise ships. Guns, long blades, and other dangerous weapons should be left at home. Make sure to check your cruises barred items list for other items not allowed on board the ship. Not doing so could leave you standing on the dock watching the ship cruise away without you.

This article is about Italy and what the city has to offer. It also talks about the museums and activities.

Tours in Italy

Many people don’t know where Italy is exactly located other than that it’s a beautiful country in Southern Europe. Italy also borders Switzerland, France, Slovenia and Austria. Rome is the capital of Italy as well as the center of Western Civilization and the home of the Catholic Church. Other major cities in Italy are Florence, Milan, Venice and Naples. Italy is a very popular tourist country with 41 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Italy has more World Heritage Sites than any other country and has made contributions towards the heritage and culture of its neighboring countries.

Attractions in Italy Tours

Most tours in Italy are for seeing the country and learning more about the culture. Usually many museums and artwork are viewed by tourists. Artwork is plentiful in Italy because it’s the home of many famous artists including Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello, Caravaggio, etc. Works of art from these artists can be seen on the streets as well as in the many museums. You will find nothing about these museums boring, as they are very informative and enlightening.

What to Do In Italy

Most vacationers come to Italy to learn about the country and sample the excellent cuisine and wine. Bicycle tours are very popular today almost anywhere you go. You and your family will love peddling down the simple streets checking out the Italian restaurants. Many bicycle-touring companies will set you up as part of their group tours. This is a great way to spend a relaxing day and get some sightseeing in at the same time.

Major Vacation Cities in Italy

Rome is probably one of the most beautiful cities in the world. If you are planning to tour Italy, make sure it is on the itinerary. This is if you don’t decide to spend your entire vacation there. Rome is rich in culture and history. Tours of Italy usually include Rome because of its popularity, beauty and wealth of things to do and places to see.

Milan is considered the design and fashion capital of the world. This is the home of the Piazza Duomo, considered the oldest shopping mall in the world. Nearby is the Duomo, one of the largest churches in the country. It also has the largest marble statue collection in the world. Milan are parts of many Italy tours.

Venice is an amazing city to see, especially since most of it is submerged in water. Many tours include the city of canals. Venice is also known for being a very romantic city. This is another Italian city that is rich in culture.

by Trudie Simpson

Everyone who travels needs travel insurance. There is no question of weather one should or should not be covered when traveling. The cost of insurance should be factored into the budget. With the various levels of cover available there is something for all budgets and travel arrangements.

Travel insurance has been created to save you money should something go wrong while you are traveling. Should some unplanned circumstances arise, you have peace of mind in knowing that you will be covered

Health is often the biggest insurance issue for many travelers. Check with your normal health insurer, you may be surprised to find they have you covered. Many offer excellent travel insurance rates for their customers. Some health insurers will have you covered for every eventuality but only in your country of residence. If you need emergency medical attention abroad this can be extremely expensive, make sure you are well covered here.

Terrorism is an event that is not usually covered by airlines. What this means is that if you miss your flight or it should be canceled due to suspected terrorist activities, you may not be reimbursed by the airline. Get your travel insurance organized so you will be covered .

Flight cancellation should always be considered and be covered by your travel insurance. Any number of circumstances could come up that make it impossible to travel. Weather, like storms or even hurricanes can cause delays. Wouldn’t you rather get put up for the night or longer in a comfortable hotel than sleep at the airport for three days?. Sudden illness or family emergencies can arise making it impossible to travel. If you are not covered you lose. Whatever may occur to prevent your journey, if you have the right insurance you are covered.

Where would we be without our luggage? Make sure you are well covered for loss and replacement of any valuables you may have in your checked luggage. Should your luggage be lost in transit the airline will endeavor to find it and return it to you. Most times this is the case, sometimes that piece of luggage is never seen again. If you have insurance you can replace what has been lost and continue to enjoy your holiday.

To decide on a specific travel insurance company you will need to do your research. Different companies offer different plans for different vacations. For example, the insurance you get for taking the family by car to Disneyland and staying in a hotel in the city. Will be different to the cover you would need to fly to a remote part of Africa and camp in a game park. Some companies will offer extended travel cover for many months. Or you may only need cover for two or three weeks. Obviously you will need to choose the cover that suits you particular travel arrangements.

Its a buyers market in the travel insurance industry. List all the items you would like covered then go shopping. There is no excuse for a perfectly good holiday being ruined by poor planning. Pay the money, get the insurance and have a great trip! Peace of mind makes for a great holiday.

Paris is an old city full of intrigue with a long history; the river it straddles, the Seine, also has two islands, situated in the oldest part of the city. Paris short stays are very popular and for good reason as it makes a superb location for a romantic weekend; with a great deal to see and do that to really a week is needed.

This city is also equally well known for its gothic architecture and markets; the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre must not go unmentioned. Traveling through the city of Paris can be very enjoyable; the Metro underground train network will probably be the main method as it runs regularly and reaches every part of the city.

It wouldn’t be possible to visit this city without a trip to the top of the famous steel structure known as the Eiffel Tower; it can be seen from any point within the city and the superb views just can’t be matched by those looking at it from the ground. At night, it comes alive with lights that have to be seen to be believed; guided tours add to the thrill as you get to peek into history on how it was constructed.

A walk along the Champs Elysees is essential when you visit Paris; it will present you with many famous designer shops and good restaurants. This avenue is well worth a visit to see how the wealthy live; the exclusive five star hotels situated in this more select part of the city might be out of most visitors’ price range.

This city is also the home to the renowned Louvre Museum; it houses over three hundred thousand exhibits but not all of them are ever on display at the same time. There are so many exhibits here they cannot all be viewed during a short stay in Paris; the Venus de Milo is displayed here and of course the Mona Lisa. Over the years, Paris has been home to many of the world’s famous artists; chances are that you will have the opportunity to see a number of famous paintings whilst you’re visiting.

Of course, Napoleon commissioned the construction of the Arc de Triomphe, another Paris landmark; the names of his generals are engraved on its surface and another of those ‘must have’ photo land marks. It also features an observatory to take in surrounding views; it can be found in Charles de Gaulle Place at the intersection of twelve avenues including the Champs Elysees.

Certainly it is not fair to believe that these are the only places in the city worth visiting; and whilst there are many more worthy examples, those listed here should not be missed. It is fair to say that you won’t see everything on a Paris short stay of two or even three day break; what you aren’t able to this time will have to wait for another occasion.

Kenya holidays are that once in a lifetime experience not to be missed; whether you choose an exotic beach holiday to kenya, a luxury Kenya safari holiday or a twin centre holiday combining both options.

Kenya holidays are becoming increasingly popular with the british public partly due to the incredible value for money this destination offers. Add to this the near perfect year round climate and abundance of activities and there is really know better place for that exotic holiday or honeymoon.

The quality of hotels in kenya can vary greatly and range from budget accommodation right up to deluxe 5 star luxury properties. The majority of the beach hotels are situated within an hours drive of Mombasa, with many clustered together providing a good variety of both hotel and beach activities.

If you are considering a safari as part of your Kenya holidays then there are so many to choose from. You can fly direct to Mombasa on a UK charter flight and take a short 1 or 2 night safari excursion from your hotel or alternatively fly via Nairobi and stop off for a 4 or 5 night safari in the Masai Mara.

The type of safari you choose and the area you choose to visit will dictate what game viewing opportunities you may experience but as Kenya is so rich in natural wildlife you are unlikely to ever be disappointed.

Combining a beach and safari holiday to Kenya need not be as expensive as you first imagine. You can combine a Kenya beach holiday with a simple 2 night safari to the Tsavo National Parks for as little as eight hundred pounds each and even if you stretch to a luxury Masai safari with a luxury beach stay this can still come in well under two thousand pounds.

The climate in Kenya is fairly consistent year round but there are annual rains that tend to occur between April and June. These rains generally come in short tropical bursts and will not deter from the enjoyement of your Kenya holidays.

There is one thing for sure; Kenya holidays are a once in a lifetime experience that we should all take the opportunity to enjoy.

There are a lot of things going for Orlando. On top of the great and warm Florida weather, Orlando plays host to many theme parks and amusement centers guaranteed to make your stay extremely enjoyable and memorable. Arguable the most famous of these theme parks is Disney World, which is divided into four parts and encompasses more than 36,000 acres of pure, unadulterated fun. There is also Universal Studios, which is arguably one of the best entertainment centers in the United States, especially to those who are Hollywood movie buffs. Rounding up the triumvirate is Sea World, where you will be able to experience the fun and majesty of the creatures of the deep. To say that Orlando is a prime tourist spot because of these three (and many more) is a gross understatement.

Orlando in sunny Florida is home to three of the world’s best known theme parks and resort: Walt Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios. These three encompass the best of magical amusement parks and entertainment centers, catering to all kinds of people of all ages: kinds, adults, and everything in between. Disney World is the place to go when you want to relive your childhood, meeting such legendary cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and many more. It provides great rides as well as amazing live performances. Sea World, on the other hand, takes you to the magnificent world under the sea and introduces you to the many mysterious denizens that live within it. Finally, Universal Studios is everyone’s choice of entertainment especially if it involves high excitement in the world of Hollywood and the likes. It should be noted, however, that tickets to these entertainment centers are more expensive during peak tourist season. Going there during off-season will net you a less cheaper price for the same grand experience.

Weather-wise, Orlando is generally hot; it is probably almost tropical level. If you’re familiar with the other major places in Florida like Miami and its beaches, then you know what weather to expect in Orlando. As such, try to wear clothing that protects you from the heat but not too heavy. The best time to visit Orlando when you’re trying to get away from winter in your place is during January until the first weeks of February. Fall is also a good time since it is not generally considered as the peak tourist season. Whatever time you choose, however, you will always be assured of a grand vacation.

by Chris Channing

Spiritual retreats are designed to heal to participant physically, emotionally, and mentally. It is a chance for any person, who wishes to experience and fully spiritual experience, to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and have the best spent vacation of their lives.

The two main components that decide whether or not a person will fully experience their spiritual retreat to the fullest are having the desire to heal, and then having the ability to do something about their problems. This entails what the participant is willing to do to allow themselves to have the greatest spiritual experience while on the trip as well as what they do after they return home from the trip.

Some people have a hard time returning home after their retreat. They can feel overwhelmed returning to their lives after a spiritual experience. Follow-up programs have been established for this purpose by some of the spiritual retreat organizations. They allow the participant to make a smoother transition back in to society by checking in with the company for a few weeks after the retreat.

There are several different reasons for a person to wish to take a spiritual retreat. They may have spiritual, stress, health, lifestyle, or social concerns that could cause them to think that a retreat is best for them. Retreats can either be taken by a single person who wishes to remain in solitude or, in most cases, taken by groups. There are retreats that force the participants to remain in silence, enabling them to fully experience the world around them. Other spiritual retreats focus on communication and being able to deal with and enjoy the people around the participant.

Almost all spiritual retreats are done in rural areas. Rural areas are employed so that the participants can be fully separated from the surroundings that originated the problems. The surroundings can be a place for the participants to separate themselves from their problems. One of the most popular places for retreats to be held is old monasteries.

Spiritual retreats allow the participants to reflect, pray, and meditate. These times are done to allow the participant time to think about their problems that caused them to have to take the retreat and find solutions. This method of prayer and meditation are generally seen as Buddhist traditions, but are also done by Roman Catholics and Anglicans.

The methods of spiritual retreats have even been employed by those of the corporate world. Business companies have sent their employees on retreats in the hope that they will be able to focus on the goals needed for the company’s success. The employees are taught to focus on ways solve the problems the company has hired them to solve instead of personal problems. These retreats settings are definitely not comparable to the board rooms and offices that the participants are used to, but that may be the deciding factor when seeking a new form of problems solving.

For those people who are thinking about partaking in a spiritual retreat please remember that you can only hope to get as much out of the program as you are willing to put in to it. The benefits of the program can only be grasped by those who are willing to fully involve themselves in the retreat. Spiritual retreat organizations and locations can be found on the internet. Inner peace and personal answers await those who wish to find them.

When it comes to considering places for you to go on vacation, you will want to consider the weather. As for Malaga weather and climate, you will find that it is acceptable all year long. You will notice that the sun is out most of the time and there is little rain fall in the summer. You should consider the following when planning your vacation.

For those who like to stay in the sun, you will want to go to Malaga in the summertime. You will find that it is very popular for others to come during the summer. It does get very hot and that is one of the best qualities about the area. You will find that autumn is the perfect time if you prefer it to be sunny, but not scorching hot. You will find that there are some cold spots and snow falls, but the wintertime is just as good as any time to go to Malaga.

Spring time happens to be a very nice time when it comes to visiting the local and the surrounding cities. It is simply because of the mild, warm temperatures. It is very comfortable in Spain during the springtime, in general. It is also the perfect time to take in the local beauty and not feel the hot, hot sun. You will find that August is the hottest month in Malaga, but then it tends to get more comfortable weather.

During august and July, you will find that it is the busiest time of the year for Malaga. You will also notice that June and July have more humidity. Don’t be alarmed if you see thick sea fog that makes the city feel even hotter. You will also find that during the month of August, there will be some hit-and-miss rain showers and thunderstorms; however, they occur mostly at night.

As for the autumn season, you will notice that the region remains very warm. September will remain warmer; however, as October comes and goes it will continue to get colder. Although, snowfall is very rare for most parts of Spain, it is possible. You will also notice that there are some areas that generally have more rain than others; however, Malaga will still be a pleasant experience after fall.

As for the winter months, you will notice that it is very rainy and some areas will begin to see some flooding. However, you will want to keep in mind that only seven days of the month are expected to rain. It will vary from year to year; however, some years have more than others. It is still very lovely to see the town in the late fall, winter season. Keep in mind that the temperatures are mild and snow is very rare when it comes to Spain.

Cork has a great selection of hotels and guesthouses ranging from small family owned properties to the five star Hayfield Manor Hotel a pleasant ten minutes stroll from the city centre. You can get great priced flights from Newcastle with Jet2 and make your own short break on direct flights from Newcastle to Cork.

Cork is the second largest city in the Republic of Ireland and is the principal city of County Cork. The city’s name comes from the Irish word corcach which, means marshy place. The River Lee flows through the city into Lough Mahon, which creates one of the world’s biggest natural harbours. It is no surprise that Cork is a major seaport with quays and docks.

Cork was first founded in the sixth century by St Finbarr and became a city much later when it received its royal charter by King John in 1185. Having a large natural harbour meant that Cork became a major trading port and particularly with the merchants from the Scandinavian regions. However this also attracted attention from the less friendly visitors and Cork was attacked by Vikings and Norsemen.

Its not got a temperature like a holiday resort in Tenerife but Cork does average nearly four hours of sunshine a day in the Summer months and is the sunniest city in Ireland. The climate of Cork is generally mild, moist and changeable however it does not suffer from any weather extremes such as storms or extreme cold in the winter

There are lots of places to visit whilst visiting Cork and a lot of architectural buildings of note. The most famous building in Cork is the church tower of Shandon, which dominates the northern side of the city. St Patrick’s Street is a main street, which has been renovated and is now a pedestrian friendly route through the main shopping area. Don’t forget to visit Blarney Castle, Charles Fort and perhaps a visit to the greyhound Stadium.

There are lots of different shops from boutiques to markets offering a range of products to cater for all budgets. There are a few large shopping centres and the main shopping street is St Patrick’s street. There are lots of different restaurants catering for the more refined palate to the fast food restaurants seen in most cities around the world.

How to Travel With Children and Enjoy

by Leroy Calstard

How to Travel With Children and Enjoy

You may find yourself rethinking the idea of traveling with children, but you will find plenty of ways to keep it stress-free, as long as, you learn how to plan a vacation well. You will want to take the following tips inconsideration so that you can have a great family vacation.

The first thing that you will want to do is include your kids in the planning. Ask them to get involved in the planning process and you will find their excitement will build. Although children sometimes have a limited amount of attention and tend to get tuckered out quickly, you can plan a lot of simple and exciting activities for the whole family to take part in.

You will also want to think about the things that you bring on the trip as well. You will want to bring plenty of things that you will need like disposable diapers, but you will also find that you can rent a lot of the furniture needed for the baby like a stroller or crib. You will want to make sure that you bring your medication for the children and also be prepared for anything by bringing a first-aid kit. You will also need to ask how you can sterilize or prepare the bottles at the hotel too.

Keep in mind that the key is to keep them busy whether on a long car ride or a cheap flight to Murcia. You will want to make sure that the trip is very enjoyable for the entire family, but you will also want to make the children feel comfortable. If that means that you bring their favorite videos or CD’s, well then you will just need to bring them. Keeping the children happy and busy will make a great vacation even better.

Also, make sure that you think about the children’s safety on the road. This is very important and you will want to make sure that you take all the precautions to keep your children safe. These means that you will need to drive slowly, safely, and on the defense so that you can protect your children as much as possible.

Also, you need to think about ailments like motion sickness and traveler’s diarrhea. You will find that motion sickness is something that everyone gets every now and then, but you will want to make sure that you take plenty of stops with the children. You will also want to give them time to process a heavy meal before throwing them into the car, because it could cause sickness. You will also want to protect your children from the water. You need to make sure that you have plenty of distilled water and you stay away from the foods that are purchased from the local markets because you could become very sick from the food and water that is local. Always ask for bottled!

Purchase visitor health insurance for all foreign visitors whom you host. If visitors fall sick or injure themselves then the insurance coverage can protect the host family from big bills. Coverage can be purchased from the day one departs the home country till the day one returns home (including the the days in transit).

Upon purchaes of the plan double check the insurance ID cards and insurance certificate are correct. For immediate coverage confirmation you can request the ID cards be emailed to you. The cards must be in the possession of the insured at all times.

Most insurance plans require you to use facilities within a contracted network of providers (hospitals & doctors). By visiting them you can maximize the benefits offered by the insurance company. Note down the phone numbers and other contact information for the facilities in the areas you plan on visiting.

If you are looking for a fascinating attraction in Rome, the ancient ruins of the Golden House of Nero have just recently been opened after years of being excavated and restored. This is great news because even though the house was found during the Renaissance period, it took a big recovery effort in the 1990s to finally make it available.

Everybody knows that Nero fiddled while Rome burned. The Golden House of Nero was built in 64 AD after that huge disaster and it is filled with amazing finds. Nero spared no expense on himself using gold plating liberally and filling the ceiling with precious stones to honor himself. Sadly, these riches cannot be viewed if you go there. Looters had their way with the Golden House of Nero not long after the decadent ruler passed away.

Some trivia is that the palace covered over 300 acres which included a private lake and rich crops and the extravagant house. However, the palace was not really a home like we think of it because even though it had hundreds of rooms, it had no bedrooms. This is not to say that many times people didn’t just pass out and sleep there during Nero’s wild parties.

One artistic marvel that stood at the site was a magnificent statue of Nero. This huge figure stood 40m (130ft) high. But it was moved to the Coliseum, just leaving the bronze base behind.

Time has taken its toll on the Palace of Nero, but it’s still worth taking a few hours to go on the audio tour that is offered. It’s a fascinating and satisfying tour and if you are in Rome in the fall, the city is friendly and the weather perfect.

You can take a fascinating underground tour, with an audio guide to see the huge variety of rooms and vaults of the house. Fabullus, who was one of the most famous artists of the time, painted the many frescoes you will see there using a style he learned in the city of Pompeii.

For us, the artist Fabullus may not be well known, but great artists such as Michelangelo and Raphael were inspired by him, and those that saw his work at the Golden House of Nero left their names etched into the walls. Names like Casanova and the Marquis de Sade can also be found there if you look for them.

The tour will open your eyes to another world as you see ruins still not fully restored, hiding amazing ancient art works. But when you see rooms that look like they did during Nero’s time, the artwork and luxurious design will take your breath away.

You will get a good exposure to grotto style rooms during your tour. But when you enter the amazing Octagon room, it will be a true highlight of the day. This room showed Nero’s admiration of that famous emperor and the Dying Gaul statue that was housed there, that can now be seen elsewhere at the Palazzo Altemps museum.

After the tour of the building, taking in the gardens is a great way to end the experience. You will enjoy seeing a model of the octagonal room because it will give you such a good feel for what life was like long ago in Nero’s day when this amazing house was his home.

Bellagio is a 3400+ room AAA Five Diamond award winning hotel and casino resort located on the famous Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. The resort opened on October 15, 1998. The design of Bellagio was inspired by the Lake Como resort of Bellagio in Italy and features an eight-acre lake located between the hotel and the strip. Bellagio is one of the most dramatic and awe-inspiring resorts on the Las Vegas strip.

The hotel was featured in the movies, Oceans Eleven and Oceans Thirteen, which featured George Clooney and Brad Pitt as part of a gang intent on robbing casinos. A fictional vault of the Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas was indeed robbed in the story! The hotel was opened in 1998 and cost a staggering $1.6 billion to build. The interior is luxuriously furnished with fountains and the lobby ceiling is decorated with colorful hand blown glass flowers.

The main visual attraction this casino is known for is the stunning fountains located in front of the premises. There is no cost at all for the show and the times run from Monday-Friday, 3 p.m.- midnight, Saturday and Sunday, noon-midnight. The fountains run every half-hour until 8 p.m. and every 15 minutes after that until midnight. However, the fountains are occasionally closed during high winds.

Conservatory and Botanical Gardens are also a part of this amazing city within a city. Here you will find exotic plants from all over the world. It’s a botanical display that rivals the gardens you might find in London or New York City.

At the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art there is a small but quite impressive display of dozens of works by masters such as Picasso, Monet, van Gogh and others. You tour is aided by an audio presentation. Art lovers will certainly find this to be a must visit spot on their Las Vegas vacation.

In addition to the major attractions, Bellagio has an extremely large casino offering all the games you can imagine with limits to suit all gamblers. There is also plenty of shopping at Via Bellagio, a world-class spa, several nightclubs, over 20 restaurants for all tastes and budgets including the award-winning Le Cirque, and a spectacular pool area to work on your tan at.

Leave the city behind and enjoy the peace of country surroundings. Lodges, ranches, orchard and farms are perfect for those who want to get away from it all and also enjoy the fun of a bed and breakfast experience. Here are some idyllic locations where you can ride out on the ranch, commune with some cows or just relax and enjoy the views.

Enjoy Big Sky Country at this Montana Bed and Breakfast

Enjoy frontier living at the River Rock Lodge in Big Sky, Montana. The inviting interior boasts the namesake river rock and rustic wood you would expect in wilderness lodge. Mountain vistas and stunning fall foliage will captivate you. Montana architect Jerry Locati designed the beautiful lodge, and his architecture was influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright. The comfortable rooms are a perfect place to relax after a day filled with fly-fishing, trout fishing, river rafting, skiing or touring Yellowstone National Park, which is just 40 miles away.

History Abounds at 300-Year-Old Arizona Hacienda

Experience a true dude ranch experience at Rancho De La Osa, a 300-year-old ranch located 65 miles outside of Tucson in the high Sonoran Desert. Rates include three meals each day and all the scheduled activities for the day. These might include horseback riding, nature walks, bird watching and guided hikes. There are several themed weekends throughout the year, such as the Cowgirl Camp, an adventure for the ladies that includes rustling cattle and barrel racing. Cowboy cookouts and western dance events are some of the other themes. The guest rooms are furnished with Mexican antiques, many include a wood-burning fireplace, and all have a porch boasting mountain views. Afternoon refreshments are served in the “Old Adobe” Cantina, which is thought to be the oldest building in Arizona.

440 Idaho Acres with Miniature Horses

Surrounded by 440 acres of working farmland, The Cedar Mountain Farm B&B in Athol, Idaho, is a serene and peaceful getaway anytime of the year. There are plenty of hiking and cross-country ski trails, and bird watching opportunities abound. Deer and elk sightings are common, and you might even glimpse a moose. Sage Creek runs along a mountain on the vast property and guests can try and catch some trout. The night sky is filled with stars, and each morning brings with it a farm-fresh breakfast. Guests can help out with farm chores or gardening, which is especially fun for younger guests. Help gather eggs or pet a miniature horse. The farm is located in between Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint; the Silverwood Theme Park is just three miles away, as well.

22 Acres of Apple Trees in Illinois

What a refreshing change: Okaw Valley Orchard Inn is actually located in an orchard! Located in Sullivan, Illinois, this B&B resides in a barn-style house among 22 acres of apple trees. You can roam the orchard, bird-watch from the enclosed back porch - there are thousands of hummingbirds in the fall - or soak in the outdoor hot tub. There’s an old fashioned apple festival on the orchard grounds Oct 6 & 7, 2007; plus local fishing and hunting activities. Need a place to escape to? Head to the orchard!

Relax Your Spirit at This Northern California Retreat

A private riverfront beach, swimming pond and acres of rolling hills covered with trees are what await you at the secluded Shambhala Ranch Retreat Center just outside of Ukiah in Northern California. Guests can enjoy a relaxing massage or a soak in the outdoor hot tub. The innkeepers cater to small groups, and it is a perfect spot for friends or co-workers to gather and commune with nature. The ranch is eco-friendly using solar power and other renewable energy sources. The seaside town of Mendocino is nearby.

Rustle Up Some Cattle at Texas Ranch

For a truly Texan adventure, try out Canyon Lake Ranch, a 64-acre spread in the famed Texas Hill Country. Guests can hand-feed the Longhorn cattle or hike through the scenic countryside. Outdoor activities such as horseback riding, boating, kayaking and tubing on the Guadalupe River are some of the area’s options. The innkeepers can help arrange fly-fishing expeditions or day trips on Canyon Lake. There are two lodging choices at this Hill Country bed and breakfast, both are completely private. The Starview Lodge includes a swimming pool, hot tub, indoor sauna and a fireplace. The Longhorn Lodge also has a hot tub and with its fenced yard is suitable for children and pets. All guests receive a bottle of Texas wine, fresh fruit and freshly baked cookies.

In all the excitement of looking forward to your major holiday how is your packing going? When going overseas it is wise to pack accordingly. Essential travel items can easily be overlooked, it pays to plan and to have a list. That way you can tick off items as they are packed.

Travel documents, toiletries and first aid are the three main travel essentials. Add these to your packing list to get you started.

You may think that there is no point to packing these extra items. Take a moment to think about it. The time it would take out of your precious holiday to find a pharmacy at 2am for a headache tablet. Trying to explain diarrhea to a pharmacist that does not speak your language?

Not only useful to have at home or in your car or boat, your travel kit will be well worth the money. You can put your own kit together or purchase one to suit from the many that are now available. Different sizes and contents to suit your style of travel.

Your basic kit should include the following: Pain relief medication, antiseptic cream, band aids and plasters. Stomach upset remedies and eye drops. Scissors, tweezers and safety pins are usually included. Remember to put your kit in with your main checked luggage. No good having it confiscated by customs before you leave the country!

After your everyday essentials include the following. Medicated wipes, tissues, dental floss or tooth picks. Sun cream, lip balm and body moisturizer if the climate is cold or dry. Emery boards can save annoyance of ragged nails. Insect repellent if traveling outside of cities. Men don’t forget your razor!

You should take enough of your current medication for the duration of the trip and then some. Not all countries have the same pharmaceuticals and you may find it very difficult to get a prescription filled in a foreign country. Be prepared.

Essential documents include copies of your itinerary. Copy of your passport and copy of your travel insurance details. You should also carry information on you at all times of next of kin or who to inform in an emergency. This is essential if you are traveling alone.

Planning your luggage well to include these essentials is priceless. Just a few extra items can make a huge difference to your holiday enjoyment. Bon Voyage!

Being a twenty four hour city, a visitor may find that seven days in New York just isn’t enough time to take in everything it has to offer. One of the most important places to see is the Empire State Building; it has a facade that is famous around the world. Of course, many people prefer the view form the Rockefeller Center which is a little higher, but it can be difficult to see anything when there is bad weather. Another famous landmark, the Statue of Liberty cannot be seen properly unless it is from the river; however delays can be long here so if you are on a tight schedule, stop off at Ellis Island and view the statue from there.

The Staten Island ferry can still be traveled on without cost and can offer excellent photo opportunities of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty; it is also worth walking around the terminal as well as there are many excellent street performers there. However, no seven day trip to New York would be complete now without a visit to where the World Trade Center Towers once stood not that long ago. Despite the moving nature of this place where over 3,000 people lost their lives, most people do not wish to take a picture of it. Shopping is one of the many reasons visitors flock to New York whether it is for good old-fashioned discounts along Broadway or in the Warehouses down Lower East Side or the beautiful and extravagant Tiffany’s, New York has it all.

Whereas there are stores like Macey’s who are happy to take your tourist discount card and give you an eleven percent discount to the very exclusive Bloomingdales who probably won’t. An excellent tourist location is the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum which is likely to be closed until the end of 2008; once the refurbishment is complete it will be worth visiting when it re-opens. Many special (and large) craft are located here including a number from World War II, namely the aircraft carrier the USS Intrepid. Although it is actually free to enter, the NY City Police Museum is funded by donations from visitors (five dollars is the recommended amount); because it’s about New York’s finest (and some not so fine), it has some really excellent NYPD souvenirs.

Side Tenement Museum which captures the lives of immigrants to New York back in 1864 If you visit Central Park (and why wouldn’t you?) you can call into the Museum of New York City which has some excellent exhibitions about the past, present and future of the city. The museum is in a beautiful building which is free to enter but a nine dollar donation is normally given with plenty of souvenirs available.

Most visitors seem to be on a flying visit so end up missing some of the most beautiful areas and that’s why seven days in New York should really be the minimum stay.

Have you ever imagined yourself sunbathing on a enchanting coast on a remote islet thinking about the meaning of life? As the rest of society rush about their every day jobs you will simply lie back and rest. The Western Isles/Outer Hebrides of Scotland are a collection of such isles abounding in incredible stupendous landscapes and enchanting beaches. One of the most spectacular of regions is Harris (Isle of).

If you are thinking of taking a vacation in the Hebrides Isles why not consider basing your vacation on the island of Harris. You will discover that there is loads of Accommodation on Harris available throughout most of the year and one of the best ways to stay is in self-catering accommodation. Hiring a self-catering house near to a beach is really easy, these days you just get yourself onto the web and use Google to search for it. Sadly it is usual for some accommodation to be reserved over a year by satisfied visitors to the island. Obviously it is immensely important that you book at the earliest opportunity, waiting for a few days or months could cause you to miss out.

Isle of Harris Self Catering Accommodation is truly brilliant the cottage is always impeccable and highly pleasant whichever Harris Self Catering Accommodation you decide upon. While visiting Harris in the Western Isles/Outer Hebrides you should think about a excursion to Lewis (isle of) where you will find a number of incredibly popular places of interest and landmarks such as the beautiful and incredibly important Calanais(Callanish) stone circle. The Calanais(Callanish) stone circle are amongst the most important and remarkable in Europe.

Not far from the Calanais stone circle is Dn Chrlabhaigh(Carloway) Broch which is an ancient iron age twin-walled drystone building of which the usage is unknown (but a great many folk consider it was defensive). Throughout the Hebrides you will find an incredible number of sites of special interest. It would seem that wherever you lay your eye you see a strange outline of rocks where once there was some kind home. These were once a type of home named a blackhouse.

These days there are hardly any blackhouses in the Hebrides. There are a small number that have been conserved and one or two that have been fully modernized and available to rent. Happily there is a blackhouse available as Accommodation on the Isle of Harris at Scarista in southern Harris. This astounding cottage-like building is right by one of the most beautiful beaches on Harris (and the Isle of Harris is well known for having some of the greatest beaches in Europe.

Arizona is known for its rich cultural heritage. It is also called the Grand Canyon State. It is known for its breathtaking locations, abundant wildlife, golf courses and health spas. Many people visit the different cities of the state to delve into the past, the colorful history, varied art and architecture and a number of cultural venues.

Arizona’s pride, the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon, attracts more than five million tourists a year. This ancient marvel consists of limestone, sandstone, and shale brought about by geological processes including the erosion by the Colorado River. The early twentieth century saw the national reserve becoming a popular tourist destination. Different companies offer exciting bus, helicopter, Hummer, and airplane tours. For example, the Grand Canyon Tour Company offers terrific luxury coach tours, while some others use minivans at times. There are scenic tours to the Grand Canyon South Rim National Park. Also fascinating are the Indian heritage sites. National Geographic certified cruises and rides are also offered. There are lovely lodges and places to eat on these sightseeing adventures. The coaches take about fourteen hours.

Phoenix is the state capital and has a wide range of museums and other Arizona attractions. The Arizona Science Center presents shows in the planetarium and films on the five-story Imax Theatre screen. There are demonstrations on different subjects, such as electricity, magnetism and gravity. Exhibits include aerospace, weather and energy conservation. The center can be found in the Heritage and Science Park. Children enjoy going to Summer Science Camp, which is run by the center. One of the other Arizona attractions is the Heard Museum, a museum dedicated to Native American art and artifacts, including Hopi dolls and jewelry. The Phoenix Zoo has four sections divided into themes. There is the Africa Trail, the Tropics Trail and the Discovery/Children’s Trail. The Arizona Trail contains local wildlife and native plants.

Tucson is the second largest city in the state and the Pima Air and Space Museum is one of the most impressive attractions in Arizona. It opened in 1976 and the collection includes more than 250 aircraft and artifacts from the USA and elsewhere, including military, civil and commercial. Some of the craft and objects are quite rare. Exhibits include World War II airplanes and the Air Force One plane, used by John F.Kennedy. The museum is located next to the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

Arizona is a great place to visit because there are so many things to see and experience. From museums, golf courses to the breath taking Grand Canyons it is a travellers gold mine.

Heading to San Jose, California for business or pleasure? This city is an ideal destination for travelers of all kinds as it is, literally and figuratively, right in the middle of the very best that California has to offer. Nearby are world-class wineries, the cutting-edge technology of Silicon Valley, San Francisco’s shopping and nightlife, central California’s ruggedly beautiful coast, and, depending on the time of day, some of the region’s worst traffic congestion.

Increasingly, savvy travelers to the area are choosing to rent San Jose limousines instead of car rentals to alleviate the concerns of traffic, travel in comfort and style, and focus either on taking care of business or having a great time or both! Here are the top 10 reasons to rent a San Jose limo!

1.	Affordability - Once you’ve added up the receipts from car rentals, taxi fares, parking fees, and especially fill-ups at the gas station, San Jose limos are not only a practical but also an affordable transportation solution. It doesn’t take long for all the incidental costs of transportation to add up and renting a limo in San Jose might actually save you money in the long run.

2.	Flexibility - Whether you’re following a tight schedule or you’ve left lots of room in your itinerary for spontaneity, San Jose limousines are the most flexible of ground transportation solutions as they allow you to travel through the area on your terms and on your schedule.

3.	Convenience and comfort - What’s more convenient than being picked up and dropped off right at the door of your destination? Limousines also feature roomy, luxurious interiors with amenities designed to provide the utmost in comfort while visiting San Jose’s wonderful destinations.

4.	Location - San Jose’s location is ideal for enjoying the very best of California and there’s no better way see and do it all than traveling in a limo. To the north are the vibrant cities of Oakland and San Francisco, to the west lies the beautiful Pacific coast, the valleys to the east and northeast produce some of the world’s finest wines, and south of San Jose lies “America’s Salad Bowl” in Salinas Valley.

5.	Silicon Valley business - San Jose limos allow you to prepare for important Silicon Valley business meetings en route and deliver you to your destination refreshed and ready.

6.	Wine tours - It’d be a shame to get this close to some of the world’s best wineries and not spend at least an afternoon tasting wine. Your San Jose limousine allows you to sample the region’s wonderful wines to your heart’s content without any concerns about tasting one too many Pinots.

7.	Concerts - Whether headed to a huge outdoor concert at the Shoreline Amphitheater or one of San Jose’s more intimate music venues, a limousine allows you and your friends to travel to and from the show in style, comfort, and safety. Not only will the limo drop you off and pick you up at the door of the concert venue, it also eliminates parking and traffic hassles and lets all of you focus on having a good time!

8.	Sporting events - Ice hockey fans have the San Jose Sharks, college sports fans can follow the consistent successes of Stanford University’s teams in nearby Palo Alto, and San Francisco’s Giants, 49ers, and Oakland’s A’s and Raiders are just up the road as well. The next time you and your buddies are heading to a game in the San Jose area, forget about separate cars and rent a limo instead!

9.	Weddings - One of the main reasons people rent limos in the San Jose area is for adding a touch of elegance and sophistication for weddings. Limo rental companies usually offer wedding packages for the wedding party and limos are a grand way to transport everyone from the ceremony to the reception. When making your wedding limo reservation, be sure to inquire about any special rates they may offer.

10.	Scenic drives along the coast - California’s Highway 1 is synonymous with spectacular scenery and breathtaking ocean vistas and whether you head north into Marin County or south to Monterey and Carmel-By-The-Sea, your San Jose limo allows you and your guests to see and experience all the beauty of this rugged stretch of coastline.

Anytime you want to concentrate on having fun with friends and family and leave the driving to a professional, San Jose limousines are not only a practical but also surprisingly affordable option for you to consider. San Jose limos remove all the logistical hassles of transporting groups of any size and allow everyone to relax and enjoy the ride no matter what the occasion may be!

Big brand name hotels are usually the first thought, when booking vacation accomodation. They’re great to enjoy a relaxed break. But what if you want something different? You can try a stay in a boutique hotel. They offer the same amenities as a chain hotel and more.

If you are looking for a place that offers a bed with friendly hospitality with a feeling of home, then what you are looking for is a boutique hotel. What is a boutique hotel? It is a hotel that is designed in a certain way, designed to a certain theme to give its hotel guests a welcoming feeling.

Most early boutiques started out life in historic buildings. These antique estates where then modernized. All the technological modern conveniences where added. Widescreen tv’s, wireless internet, satellite tv. Room service is added in as well.

New Orleans boutiques that are housed in old buildings, have been decorated to fit in with the 19th Century era. Some larger boutiques have swimming pools, spas and fitness suites. Rooftop terraces may also be avialable. Restaurants and bars will also be located inside the hotel.

As stated already, boutique hotels have a theme they portray. Yet, how do owners come up with a theme that will catch a person’s eye? One of the best ways is to utilize the cultural surrounding of the hotel. The Anasazi Hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico uses its southwest region culture to accent its home. There are many items from the Native American culture hanging about in the hotel including handmade throw rugs and pottery too.

While many hotels use their surroundings to come up with a theme, some boutique hotels stick with a time period. One such place is New Orleans. However, there are other places including a hotel in San Francisco. Hotel Union Square has a Prohibition era theme in its rooms and halls. Each room and hallway has a black granite and cream travertine tile.

Other hotels like the owners of the Anasazi Hotel in Santa Fe use its Native American surroundings to decorate the rooms and hallway. Much of it is decorated with some kind of handmade throw rugs and pottery. The Inn of Five Graces, also located in Santa Fe, uses the southwest culture and blends it with the Asian culture.

If you find a boutique hotel you are interested in staying in, you should realize that a short notice reservation is likely not going to work. Most boutique hotels have a limited amount of rooms. They average out around 25 to 50 rooms. There are some boutique hotels which have over 100 rooms and others that have only three or four rooms to stay in. These small number of rooms allow employees to get to know their guests. Be sure to put your reservation in as soon as you know when you will be leaving on your vacation/business trip.

While the commercial names like The Hilton are catchy and make you think about that particular brand, sometimes a little research finds you staying somewhere you never even thought about. You should realize that you pay for what you get. A boutique room is not cheap but well worth the cash you spend. With all the amenities you get, there’s no need to stay anywhere else.

Most people would gladly pay the extra premium just for the boutique hotel experience. With luxury treatments, great service and entertainments, local culture and much more, a boutique hotel seems like the obvious vacation choice.

The islands that make up Hawaii are tourist magnets and everyone receives a warm welcome. It is tempting to lie on a beach and chill but there are plenty of activities in Hawaii for the energetic. Its wildlife, volcanoes and coast make it one of the most fascinating places in the world. There are plenty of companies that specialize in specific pursuits. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner at something because you will receive excellent tuition from professional instructors and guides.

Since Hawaii is a group of islands, they are all surrounded by water. That is why Hawaii is most known for its beach activities. These activities include, but are in no way limited to, fishing, boating, surfing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. In addition to beach activities, there are a number of other activities that you can enjoy while vacationing in Hawaii. One of those activities involves hiking. Hawaii is famous for its guided tours, which allows you and other tourists to get a firsthand look at the beauty of Hawaii.

Swimming with dolphins is something that all visitors to Hawaii should never miss. One of the places that organize this activity in Hawaii is at Sea Life Park at Makapuu Point, near Waikiki. The swim lasts for 30 minutes and you can have your photo taken with the dolphin. The Sea Life Park also has animal shows with sea lions and penguins as well as other fun activities.

Another popular activity while on a Hawaii vacation is to visit some of the volcanoes. There are some volcanoes where the locals will even show you a bike trail. It’s an exhilarating experience to bike on a volcano. Not only will you be able to see the volcano up close and personal but you will also be able to find a fun and neat activity you are certain to remember.

Horseback riding is another hobby that can be easily combined with a vacation in Hawaii. It’s a terrific way to see the scenery and get off the beaten track where you may see mountains, forests, tropical orchards or out of the way beaches. Riding groups are small and beginners are catered for. The horses are well trained and instruction is provided.

When you look at the entire Hawaii vacation picture, there’s simply no better place to spend a vacation than Hawaii. After all, the weather is generally perfect; accommodations are always pleasing and the activities you find there are in abundance. Add in the local charms of the various islands and the only thing you need to ask yourself is will you be taking a Hawaii vacation or do you plan to stay a lifetime?

When people go out on holidays in the peak of the season then at times traveling during the holidays truly becomes hectic because of the crowd. The serene rest and calm of mind that is desired away from the everyday workload is missed during these times. For this reason the best thing you could do is to reserve tickets and accommodation well ahead of time and plan the course of journey from beforehand. You can go to the destination early to get rid of the hassle caused by over-crowding of tourists. But if you are not very competent in calculating these things and fail to do that and land up at the last moment in your destination, then you should be aware of the following few things for a peaceful trip.

- The holiday travel packages are always made keeping in mind the diverse needs of the tourists. Individual party is catered with special offers and perks. So before going for a trip make it a point to check thoroughly with all the available discounts and services and avail the best deals. Extra perks can also be asked for when one stays for more than 7 days in one hotel.

- One, before going off for a holiday, must be careful about the services offered by the agents. The packages generally include air fares, accommodation and transportation but sometimes some agents are quite stretchy. Cheap rates and car rental flexibilities are also sometimes available with many agents as extra tags to draw customers.

- Make sure that the package that you want is readily available to you before you pay for it. Sometimes it happens that by the time you decide and get ready to pay the agent for a particular package, they have already sold it off to some other customer. Before sealing a deal, see to it that the package you are looking for, is not sold out in the eleventh hour and is available for you.

- Be thorough about the airline and route you are taking to your destination. You should know backwards about the detail of your journey. You should not depend blindly on the agents to help you get on with your holiday at every point. Layovers on flight at times prove real pain as they result in delayed program.

- Before choosing a package always remember that flexibility is the best feature of a good travel pack. Choices provided to the customers in accommodation and transportation, are signs of a good package.

- Lastly, one should make sure of all the discounts available when certain things are done during a holiday trip. For instance huge discounts are given to the boarders when they are putting up in a hotel for more than a week and the like. So look thoroughly before you choose a package or a hotel before you make the down payment.
